About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant in the Customer Repair Center of Excellence to support the solution validation and testing team. Key responsibilities of this role include using database and business process knowledge to perform advanced data analysis to thoroughly test and validate data related to customer repair application improvements, exploratory analytical research, among other solutions developed to remedy and/or identify customer impact. These roles will support Home Loans, Credit Cards, Cars, Deposits/Banking, Data Operations and Personal Lines and Loans.
In this role, you:
- Explore, evaluate, design, test, and validate world-class regulatory correction data, quality, and strategy.
- Provide early data discovery and analysis that supports fix analysis, as well as define and implement data strategies for new fixes. Advise line of business and senior executives on business strategies based on research findings and data analytics.
- Create and help develop analytical test strategies to address multiple impact scenarios, working independently to solve data in complicated data sources. Provide end-to-end ownership of analysis activities, including requirement input validation, code development, test plan development documentation, and test results.
- Mentor or manage less experienced staff, trainees and external contractors. Collaborate and consult with peers, peers and more experienced managers to solve problems and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications, USA:
- 5+ years of analytical experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Desired qualifications:
- Experience in financial services using line-of-business data, which could include consumer loan data or non-loan data, e.g. Auto loans, home loans, credit cards, retail banking, business services, personal loans, deposits, wealth and investment management.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL and/or SAS. Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer science, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or more a combination of the following: reporting, analysis or modeling.
