Job Description:
Located in Oklahoma City, OK, this position is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources (HR) Department (Benefits, HR, Leave, Compliance, and Projects), including attending departmental project-related meetings, and participating in the analysis and technical analysis. support activities, SAP HR information system activities and configuration and programming of the HR/Benefits system. This is a full time, paid, exempt position and reports to the Director of Employee Benefits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Attend and attend SAP Human Resources Information System (HRIS) meetings, updates, training and education. Identifies, recommends and implements continuous process improvements and policy changes.
- Acts as a liaison with the information systems department and external vendors to assist in resolving system issues. Responsible for testing, configuring, patching and updating SAP, Kronos, Benefits Registration System and other HR/Benefits systems as appropriate.
- Write code and set up scheduling in SAP and Kronos for all benefit plans, paid vacation benefits, FMLA, and state vacation laws. Consults with end users to determine functional specification needs for the system and implements and resolves system changes as they arise.
- Create and implement test strategy and develop test scripts, patches and fixes for current system configuration. Ensures that system configuration documentation is always up to date.
- It acts as a backup for the monthly billing of the Life, Optional Life and Long Term Disability Plans. Responsible for EEO-1 reports, annual audits and other related functions such as census reports, various inquiries and Excel reports as assigned.
- Responsible for running the organization including setting up new locations and creating positions, transferring/changing positions and positions and assessing Labor Codes, Workers Compensation Codes and EEO categories. It keeps abreast of legislative issues and their application to existing pension schemes and schemes.
- Provides advice on the effect of actual or anticipated changes in law relating to employee benefits and human resources practices. Help with drafting project requirements documents for presentation to project and information systems teams.
- Provides HR/Benefits systems training and communicates changes to staff and employees. Prepare ad hoc reports as needed for benefits, leave, human resources and legal departments.
- Create and deliver face-to-face presentations designed to simplify complex HR and benefits issues for various groups of employees. Demonstrates common sense in choosing methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Performs other duties and related tasks as assigned. Work required on weekends as needed.
Job Description - Requirements
- Strong skills/experience in SAP HCM and Kronos Leave/Preferred Accruals
- 5-7 years of experience as an analyst
- Experience in managing allowances and/or leave
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
- Experience with analyzing data and extracting information from databases for queries and reports.
- Ability to work independently and within a team structure.
