Costco Travel is looking for an experienced Application Solutions Architect with a strong understanding of technology stacks and how to implement new technologies and integrate them with existing systems. This role will require a strong reliance on deep architectural knowledge to design and define the future direction of software architecture, technology and software processes by anticipating needs and implementing solutions. The Solution Partner participates in product design across multiple teams and functions to help create sustainable and ethical solutions. The person who performs this task will work with internal sales to design business unit applications and workflows, while serving as a consultant to management and external spokespersons for the organization. The Solution will also provide architecture integration and maintain the stability of the overall platform by ensuring that the proper design and development principles are always used. WORK
- Designs, develops and ensures compliance with architectural standards throughout the life cycle. Analyzing the business-IT environment (managing, developing and changing business) to identify critical differences and recommend solutions for improvements (registration procedures, differences and innovations).
- Identifies aging or obsolete technology issues, as well as business needs, and proposes solutions. Partners with industry architects for departmental road maps and reference rooms.
- Working on plans in the road sector in collaboration with Enterprise Architects. Monitors application and infrastructure development activities and determines when it is necessary to modify the activity to make changes in the design of the solution.
- Ensures alignment of solution plans across different projects/solutions. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to address needs between rail and solutions.
- Designs, develops, and directs maintenance facilities, exceptions and governance programs such as state targets, references, architectural standards, technical safety, and safety and performance guidelines. Identifies the organizational (skill, process, organizational or cultural) and financial impact of the organizational solution.
- Creates non-functional definitions for operational capabilities, disaster recovery and sustainability. Establishes solution delivery processes for integration, testing and continuous delivery, and deployment in collaboration with project managers, solution owners, and other stakeholders.
- Conducts design reviews to ensure compliance with building standards. Modifying the solution architecture to support changing business or technology requirements.
- Documents solution architecture design and analysis that works and discusses the architecture that affects the solution. Interprets policies, guidelines, standards, and solution templates to ensure decisions align with the company's future vision.
- Communicates equipment, software, information and/or solution concepts to all levels of management. Designs a process that delivers timely results to the right level of technical documentation and creates a professional approach that meets both customer requirements and information development standards.
- Adheres to Costco's corporate and governance standards. Demonstrates technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle and focuses on delivering quality solutions.
