Job Description:

Wells Fargo is looking for a payment processor. This position is the first step towards a rewarding career in financial services. You will learn about the payment processing and financial services industry. Lockbox is a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-volume production environment working behind the scenes with little to no customer contact. In this role, you will perform general administrative tasks of a routine and/or repetitive nature. As a payment processor, you will open, review, classify and capture transactions in a proprietary processing system. Other functions may include: receiving, logging, grouping, scanning, preparing and distributing incoming and/or outgoing mail; verify or cross-reference data in documents; perform simple data entry tasks; perform routine math calculations. You will work under close supervision following established procedures. The successful payment processor will demonstrate great attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to follow procedures and basic computer skills. They have the desire and motivation to constantly improve their ability to perform each function quickly and accurately. The work environment is fun with a casual dress code in a highly secure facility.

In this role, you:

  • Perform general administrative operations tasks that are routine in nature.
  • Receive, register, package and distribute work
  • Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Receive regular briefings from your supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles.
  • Work under close supervision following established procedures.
  • Open and prepare incoming payments for processing. Prepare and send outbound parcels. Various mail activities. Sort and organize your incoming mail.

Required Qualifications, USA:

  • 6+ months of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
