Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Reviewer to join our Consumer Loan Review team. The Consumer Loan Review Team provides coverage in home loans, auto loans, credit cards, personal loan groups, business services, consumer loan control, and shared consumer loan services. This position will support our Home Loan Servicing Loss Mitigation team.

In this role, you:

  • Perform audit test components of assigned audits within multiple segments of the audit plan
  • Plan and execute independent audit tests and ensure they are timely and accurate.
  • Identify and evaluate key risks and controls
  • Perform and document work in accordance with Wells Fargo Audit Services Policy
  • Identify and develop compensating controls that mitigate audit findings and make recommendations to management
  • Inform the manager of situational issues that could compromise objectivity or independence
  • Design and execute tests to verify the effectiveness of the control
  • Document working documents in accordance with internal audit policy and guidelines standards.
  • Demonstrate professional skepticism when performing major components of audits.
  • Conduct audits or smaller scale projects.
  • Develop ways to improve existing audit practices
  • Develop effective test plans for assigned assignments with limited guidance
  • Participate in projects as directed.
  • Develop business partnerships within internal audit and with teams across the business through professional communications and clear audit results

Required Qualifications, USA:

  • 4+ years of Audit, Risk or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience with consumer loan products/services, preferably mortgage loan services.
  • Experience in a financial institution or accounting firm.
  • A BS/BA diploma or higher
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of risk or audit methodologies and supporting tools.
