The Ramp Supervisor serves as a leader for Ramp Agents by monitoring and providing guidance, ensuring safety and compliance procedures are followed, and reading and sending messages to provide necessary updates. Work

  • Work closely with all departments to maintain uptime, employee morale and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and direct ground support operations to ensure that requirements are met
  • Ensure all equipment including GSE is maintained and available for operation.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the airport to create a safe, secure and compliant workplace. Meet or exceed performance goals by using sound judgment, monitor and assign airport controls, assign and track representatives for training compliance.
  • Manage the work environment and school programs designed to help reduce accidents and injuries
  • Work closely with all departments to maintain station operations, reporting regular updates to management and staff
  • Drive operational processes by anticipating operational conditions that may affect performance, monitoring and achieving results against key metrics, and holding those responsible accountable for results, Review and ensure correct delay coding.
  • Collaborate with staff to coordinate offerings in line with our department's hourly goals.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, such as creating change offers, closing closings, daily work assignments, daily payroll and attendance reports, monitoring employees in all areas and verifying that time is spent properly.
  • Ensure proper drafting of contracts or employment agreements, with emphasis on reducing labor disputes
  • May perform other duties as assigned by senior staff

  • Knowledge of business principles and management including strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource management, leadership, production methods, and the organization of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of collective agreements is available in their applications
