HOW YOU WILL HELP US KEEP PACE

  • Your shift will vary between 20 and 40 hours per week, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays. Work activities include stooping, stooping, twisting, standing, and walking. Work tasks are repetitive, such as loading and stacking bags up to 50 lbs. Ramp agents work comfortably in confined spaces and on their knees for long periods in aircraft containers. Sometimes these tasks will be completed in inclement weather conditions (heat, rain, snow to name a few). We practice safety-conscious behavior in all processes and operating procedures. Some of their daily activities include:
  • Safely lifts, loads, unloads and transports baggage, mail and cargo to and from aircraft, as well as being responsible for timely connections by guiding arriving and departing aircraft from gate locations.
  • Protect cargo, luggage and mail from damage, loss and the elements. Safely drive and operate land-based equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas.
  • Use baggage scanners and computers to ensure bags are accurately routed to the customer's destination.
