Full Description:

Assumes responsibility for performing QA and QA audit activities for new deposit accounts, consumer loans, home loans, and changes to existing account data key points (file maintenance) to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with the credit union. policies, regulatory guidelines, contractual conditions and secondary market/GSE guidelines.

· Assumes responsibility for quality assurance processes related to mortgage prefinancing. Review home loan prefinancing records for accuracy and to identify and report negative trends. Identify underwriting exceptions and loan documentation, including valuations, insurance, performance exceptions, and lender clauses. · Assumes responsibility for quality control processes related to post-financing mortgage loan documents to ensure that home secured loans comply with Credit Union policies and procedures and secondary market guidelines. Review post-closure audit results and send to management for review and comment. · Analyze changes in regulatory and secondary market requirements as they impact loan processing and documentation.

Assumes responsibility for quality control processes and onboarding reviews of new consumer loans and deposit accounts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with credit union policies, regulatory guidelines, and contractual terms. · Examine and analyze data on consumer loans to assess the quality of financed loans. Identify loan documentation and underwriting exception trends. Assumes responsibility for quality control processes and reviews of changes made to key data points for existing accounts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with credit union policies, regulatory guidelines, and contractual terms.

· Review related activities and documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with credit union policies. Tracks discrepancies and ensures identified issues are resolved.

Create new and revised account data to ensure account maintenance and records meet documentation requirements. · Performs QC reviews with a focus on accuracy of documents and data entry.

Perform sample selections of deposit and loan products and account changes for quality review in accordance with internal policies, standards and procedures. · Assist in the development of quality control checklists and training materials.

· Maintains exception tracking and reporting systems to identify and report exceptions. Prepare reports to be shared with internal management teams detailing observations and recommendations to improve and enhance current processes.

· Updating of GSE production and service matrices. · Review exception reports identifying any factors that are not considered within acceptable parameters and take steps to minimize or eliminate exceptions and increase overall efficiency.

· Review EPD reports for suspicious activity. · Analyze file maintenance monitoring reports. Work with credit union staff and management to correct any errors. · Participate in staff education and training to raise awareness of Secondary Market policies and procedures.

· Meets or communicates regularly with Risk Management and Quality Assurance regarding audit, reporting, monitoring, training or other issues. · Performs special audits as needed.
