Full Description:
Looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join an in-house product manufacturing team. You will be part of a product development team working on the idea, design and production of exciting new products.
The right to head
- 7 or more years of product development experience
- Experience developing 3D CAD parts and assemblies
- Experience in the design of plastic and metal parts
- Experience in the design cycle from concept to production
- Innovative ideas, high self-motivation, deep engineering skills
- This position requires international travel (up to 20%).
- Preferred experience: Master's degree in engineering discipline
- Direct management or leadership of a product development engineering team
- High volume production experience
- Experience with FAE
- Knowledge of material science
- Experience in the following areas: GD&T, tolerance testing, statistical analysis, test design.
Explanation
- While contributing to the mechanical design of Apple products, you will work closely with multiple cross-functional teams including industrial design, hardware engineering, electrical engineering, thermal, safety, packaging, aerospace emissions, EMC and efficiency. Academic experience
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree in engineering discipline preferred
Compensation and Benefits
At Apple, salary is part of our overall compensation and is determined within limits. This gives you the ability to move forward as you grow and develop in the profession. The salary range for this job is between $115,000 and $177,000, your salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
