This role will be responsible for managing the performance of our benefits administration providers, ensuring accuracy of benefits eligibility, resolving team member escalations, handling complaints and appeals, and executing QA and QA benefits administration functions/processes. what are you going to do

Manages the performance of benefits administration providers by ensuring timeliness, accuracy, reporting and compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
- Build relationships with unions and internal union leadership and resolve complicated day-to-day and contractual benefits issues.
- Represents the benefits organization on cross-departmental projects and ensures that systems including HRIS, payroll, etc. they are designed and work well from a profit standpoint.
- Work with legal, communications, vendors, and other stakeholders to develop and review benefit communications.
- Leads performance and process improvement initiatives in partnership with vendors to improve member experience.
- Manage a team of benefit professionals to drive results through effective collaboration

- Minimum Qualifications: Education and previous work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education
- 5 years of benefits administration experience is required
Preferred Qualifications: Education and previous work experience
- Experience with providers of administrative services, payroll systems and processes and HRIS
- Proven experience in benefits administration, vendor administration and eligibility requirements.
- Advanced knowledge in benefit administration and regulation.
- Experience in a highly unionized environment.
