 As a machine user, you can:

•  Inspect, operate and maintain automated production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•  Troubleshoot and fix device or system issues. Calibrate and validate quality control equipment; perform all test procedures according to established specifications.
•  Perform a visual inspection of finished products; identify quality problems and propose solutions.
•  Monitor and document package quality using analytical tools; participate in off-specification and failure investigations.
•  Record operational and production data.
•  Train new employees in proper work procedures. To minimize the impact of production stoppage, inform the relevant production partners and the supervisor about the irregular operation of the machine.
•  Minimize production waste, including materials and coffee products.
•  Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
•  Contribute to process improvement.
•  Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value and adhere to basic safety principles in accordance with our Safety Resolution; to empower and guide others to do the same.  Understand and follow established safety guidelines, consistently follow all safety measures (eg PPE, key tag).
•  Support food safety, legality and quality programs.
•  Maintain product quality by following good manufacturing practices, preventive food safety controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Monitor and document quality metrics using analytical tools.
•  Perform other duties as needed to support  business goals and Starbucks' mission and values. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
