We currently have two openings for a Financial Analyst in our client products, gaming and publishing division of The Walt Disney Company! Your main areas of work will include:
- Help provide financial support to businesses
- Monitor business performance against expectations and help business meet or exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets
- Provide value-added variable explanations when performance falls short of expectations.
- Create ad-hoc financial analysis to support timely key business decisions, including market data, franchise, sub-category, and regional benchmarking.
- Consider the broader business impact of financial performance, developing insights to help guide future business decisions
- Drives efficiency and continuous improvement of business and financial processes while keeping abreast of current trends
- Support the business with quarterly forecasts and annual operating plans
- It is responsible for providing detailed information about forecasting and monitoring of key partners
- Participate in a 5-year strategic plan for ANZ
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience working in commercial finance
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, economics or finance or equivalent
- Excel is high on power with an eye for creativity and data-driven
- Clear and confident communication skills able to work with key stakeholders in consultation
- Problem-solving works best with the ability to look at issues from a broader perspective
- Analytical mind with knowledge of company processes
