Job Description:

The Senior Environmental Data Analyst will report on financial and environmental metrics related to The Walt Disney World Resort's (WDW) emissions, water use and waste as WDW moves closer to the Walt Disney Company's 2030 environmental goals. ). You will engage and influence key partners across WDW Resort to ensure data is monitored and reported. You will report to the Environmental Program Manager.

Job / You Will

  • Provide expert data-based decision support
  • Support WDW environmental reports related to air, water and waste. Cultivate cross-functional collaboration to generate data and support, develop and measure new programs, report progress against goals, and provide regular media reviews.
  • Create metric dashboards to monitor performance metrics. Collaborate with other organizations to improve data accuracy and integrity; collects and integrates data to inform program management; and developing recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee the new compliance reporting and disclosure process to support TWDC reporting
  • Review and analyze changes in environmental policies and laws necessary to inform the road map of topics
  • Certificate of Eligibility/You must have
  • 1+ years of work or equivalent experience
  • Experience with BI capabilities or similar data visualization software
  • Analytical skills – have the ability to read/write SQL queries to analyze data
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to communicate data and research at all organizational levels of WDW
