Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining a technical understanding of issues affecting customer product lines and coordinating and facilitating containment and rectification plans.

• Effectively manage in-service customer relationships: Liaison with customers to optimize in-service product performance and manage the execution of contractual obligations to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. • Coordinate and drive customer activities across the MRO service delivery organization and business unit stakeholders on key customer contract outcomes.

• Develop, manage and deliver client performance metrics, host/chair client business reviews via dashboards as required. Maintain mastery of technical product line through ongoing training.

• Ensure internal business unit stakeholders clearly understand the technicalities of account agreements and key deliverables.

• Responsible for being a subject matter expert for all client contracts in a region

• Communicate with customer contract requirements, including; logistics, scheduling, engineering, documentation, contacts, waiting days, materials, etc.

• Primary point of contact for customer management of all aspects of service delivery requirements.

• Provide information to clients on business forecasts. Understand and resolve operational customer dissatisfaction issues. • Promote the achievement of customer satisfaction objectives. Identify and develop sales opportunities with the Commercial Director and Regional Sales Director.

  • Participate as a core team member in customer negotiations and close new sales leads.

• Collect outstanding receivables and prepare profitability analysis for customer contracts in the region.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

• A degree in Engineering, Finance or related field is required.

• 5+ years aerospace, aviation or MRO technical knowledge/experience is required specific to Delta's technical operational capabilities. • Proven experience in customer service and relationship development is required.

• Proven experience in budget planning and execution is required. • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are required. • Strong project management skills to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Ability to influence and lead change at all levels of the organization. • Must be highly proficient in oral and written communications and able to produce concise and relevant documents and presentations for clients and senior management.

• Ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a timely manner. • Estimated travel needs 25% - 30% per annum.

• Advanced computer skills (eg. presentations and spreadsheets).
