Customer experience

Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and enjoyable customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and customer characteristics. needs, service to satisfaction, etc.).

Operations

  • Provides customers with courteous, friendly, prompt and efficient service. Recommend items for sale to the customer and recommend trade-in and/or add-on items.
  • Record customer purchases at assigned cash register, collect cash and distribute change as required; processes cancellations, returns, rain checks, refunds and exchanges as needed. Keeps counters and shelves clean and well marketed, takes inventory and keeps records.
  • Record and price merchandise as needed or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift supervisor. Implement enterprise asset protection procedures to identify and minimize lost revenue.
  • Ensures compliance with state and local laws relating to regulated products (for example, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). Builds and maintains displays, including superstructures of promotional, seasonal, and sales merchandise.
  • Full reboots and hotfixes as directed. Assists in food separation (e.g. raw vs convenience foods) and placement of products as specified by policies/procedures (e.g. raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). For consumable items, it assists in inventory rotation, using the first-in, first-out, and restocking method. Has working knowledge of shop systems and equipment.
  • Provides customer service in the photography industry, including digital passport photography service, poster and creative machine printing, suggestive sale of promotional photography products. Assumes web pickup responsibilities (track orders in Picture Care Plus, fulfill orders (pick up items), deliver orders to customers when they arrive in store).
  • Assists with external and internal maintenance ensuring a clean, neat and tidy appearance and condition of the shop. Comply with all company policies and procedures; Maintains respectful relationships with his colleagues.
  • Complete special assignments and other assigned tasks. Personal training and development
  • Participate in training and complete the PPL required by the Manager or assigned by the company.

basic qualifications

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, is required.

preferred qualifications

  • Prefers six months of experience in a retail environment. I prefer to have previous work experience with Walgreens.
