Job Description:

As a Freight Forwarder, you will be working with an innovative team whose common goal is to ensure our customers' goods arrive safely and on time to create a positive customer experience. As a Forwarder you play a key role in keeping our brand strong by maintaining professionalism and exhibiting a positive attitude on and off the job.

Cargo Customer Service Agents will be scheduled to work a 20-40 hour shift per week. Work activities include stooping, stooping, twisting, standing, and walking. Work activities are repetitive, such as loading and unloading and carrying cargo and mail on planes. Starting pay is $16.55 an hour. Further salary increases occur regularly over 10.5 years.

Summary of responsibilities (not exhaustive of all duties):

  • Safely operate ground support equipment such as tugs, forklifts and tow tractors. Subject to flexible working shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Subject to working in adverse weather conditions. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures while operating under time constraints.
  • Safely lifts, loads, unloads and transports mail and cargo to and from the aircraft, as well as being responsible for on-time shipments. Protect cargo and mail from damage, loss and the elements.
  • Safely drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, forklifts and tow tractors in congested areas. Repeatedly lift and load cargo onto trolleys and ensure that each shipment reaches its destination.
  • Use scanners and computers to ensure mail and cargo are properly routed to their destination. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays in all weather conditions. Able to work in various climates inside and outside the warehouse.
