Job Description:

As the Starbucks II Brand Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of strategic programs and marketing to the Starbucks alumni community. This is a thriving and active community of Starbucks alumni across the United States, connected by our mission, values, and shared ambition to help people and the planet thrive. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of strong brand management with the ability to create and execute brand marketing and strategic projects with a program management skill set. This role is an opportunity to lead broad cross-functional partnerships and innovate with an entrepreneurial mindset through digital communications, connections and engagement.

As Brand Manager II, you:

Develop and lead alumni program strategy: Create integrated plans that include program outcomes, strategic alignment, customer value, and business-wide impacts. You will drive short- and long-term strategy through a combination of analytics, consumer insights, and brand and partner considerations. Manage the growth and health of a thriving community: You will be responsible for driving and analyzing data and research to provide ongoing actionable insights to inform internal stakeholders, develop future programs and meet member needs.

Inspire and influence others around alumni potential: Work closely with business leaders to ensure strategic programs are delivered according to defined success criteria. Collaborate extensively with other areas of the business to orchestrate matrix resources to drive results and find opportunities to integrate with new and existing programs.

Lead Marketing and Content Strategy: You will lead and coordinate the overall approach to member acquisition and engagement by developing an insight-driven content strategy, reporting to the creative teams and overseeing delivery. Manage External Resources - You will set goals and direction for support roles and actively provide feedback shaping leadership behavior for the larger team.

You enjoy working in a fun and energetic team and are able to carry out the program as part of a highly collaborative team, acting in accordance with the Starbucks guiding principles.

We'd love to hear from people with:

  • Progressive brand management experience, 6-10 years
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment, 6-10 years
  • Progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new or existing products or strategies.
  • Over 5 years of experience with in-depth analysis and business case development
  • MBA and previous Starbucks experience strongly preferred
