 The Starbucks experience begins in our roasteries, where we have a dedicated team of skilled roasters and support process teams including planning, inventory, packaging, roasting, maintenance, planning and logistic

 As an automation expert, you can:

•  Help design updates, changes and test new changes. Participate in implementation and projects of new equipment.
•  Perform periodic maintenance of automation control systems and equipment.
•  Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems in site packaging and processing, transmission systems, utilities and building automation systems.
•  Participate in continuous improvement projects.
•  Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value and adhere to basic safety principles in accordance with our Safety Resolution; to empower and guide others to do the same.  Understand and follow established safety guidelines, consistently follow all safety measures (eg PPE, key tags).
•  Support food safety, legality and quality programs.
•  Maintain product quality by following good manufacturing practices, preventive food safety controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Track and document quality metrics using analytics tools.
•  Perform other duties necessary to support  business objectives and Starbucks' mission and values. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

•  Applied work experience in a similar field (3 years)
•  PLC programming based on Rockwell Automation software  (3 years)
•  Electrical problem (3 years)
•  General industrial maintenance and electrical systems (3 years)
•  Interpretation of mechanical and electrical drawings, including original equipment manuals (1 year)
•  Knowledge of applicable electrical codes including NEC 70 and NFPA 70E (1 year)
•  High School Diploma/GED, US Military Service, Trade School, Technical College
•  Manage one or more SCADA/HMI development software.
