Our primary focus is on reconciling carrier invoices for all modes of transportation within Wayfair's ever-growing network, controlling and improving processes related to carrier rate and contract management, generation cost estimation, selection of the carrier and optimization of costs and procurement. What will you do:
- Translate high-level business problems into more specific questions that can be answered through data-driven analytics.
- Collaborate with various business stakeholders to identify key drivers and requirements for each project and gain buy-in or resources to execute the project.
- Develop and maintain models in SQL, R Studio or Python to identify root causes of billing errors and streamline merchandise control processes with automated tools
- Deliver results-based recommendations, ensuring that analytics are used to drive business strategy.
- Develop metrics to accurately measure success/failure and create quantitative feedback mechanisms to align team on goals
- Leverage internal and external sources to innovate and drive change and consistency across our operations
- Research and develop streamlined audit processes by understanding the intricacies of the data and where technology changes need to be made.
Who are you:
- He has more than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Has a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other concentration with a preferred quantitative focus
- Analytical, creative and innovative approach to problem solving; with experience in data analysis and model development
- Passionate about solving complex business problems
- Possess strong verbal and written cross-functional communication skills
- Experience of working in an operational environment to drive business/customer results
- of a technical nature; Advanced R Studio skills and previous experience in GBQ, SQL or similar
